It's an ugly solution, but letting this situation fester as it has for the past 60 years is even uglier. Unfortunately the folks who call themselves Palestinians will never knuckle under until they are humiliated militarily and loose the will to fight. They will sabotage any attempt at a military solution to prove the validity of their pacifist ideology. <BR/><BR/>Bush has the misguided belief that democracies don't engage in war against other democracies. If the Palestinians could simply build a democratic nation, they would end their war against Israel, because Palestine and Israel would both be democracies. <BR/><BR/>Both solutions are doomed to fail miserably. <BR/><BR/>If you had a headache, would you rather be hit in the head with a hammer or a rock?
