Why? I dislike the term rat, it seems to me to belong to a culture of protecting wrong doers. Oh you ratted on me you fink! Well what what were you doing? Stealing lunch money from those weaker than me. That's wrong! I'll kick your ass you rat! We are a nation of laws to protect us all, those who hide behind the terms snitch, rat, tattle tell, etc. are the bullies of society and are not deserving of our protection.
