Iglesia turned down an offer by Senator Pete Domenici of experienced white-collar crime prosecutors then bungled the prosecution of Democrat State Treasurer Robert Vigil on extortion charges. He was slow in handing down corruption charges tied to the Albuquerque Metropolitan Courthouse construction so as to bolster the Dem’s ridiculous claim as the anti-corruption party. He also drug his heels when it came to prosecuting voter fraud, which incidentally helped NM Democrats. How many illegal aliens voted in the last election and who do you think they voted for? 330 noncitizens in Bexar County, TX maybe.
The names of 330 noncitizens on the voter rolls were reported by Bexar County Elections Administrator Jacque Callanen.
Those named had received jury duty summonses but told the court they weren't eligible to serve because they were not U.S. citizens.Anyway the Senate will vote on a meaningless resolution of no-confidence and Bush will remain loyal to Gonzales. He decided not to be loyal to General Pace, and that is unfortunate, but the White House decided not to give Harry and his bunch another chance to spout their defeatist rhetoric that Miller so aptly described.
