SOS (Save Our Schools)

Kevin Libin at the National Post wants to know how did An Inconvenient Truth become required classroom viewing?
First it was his world history class. Then he saw it in his economics class. And his world issues class. And his environment class. In total, 18-year-old McKenzie, a Northern Ontario high schooler, says he has had the film An Inconvenient Truth shown to him by four different teachers this year.
His environment class? I thought religion wasn't supposed to be taught in our public schools and make no mistake the Man-made Global Warming movement is a religion. Save our schools, support school vouchers.

Update: Joey at Pheistyblog notes that this crap is even being shown in gym classes!

Well said. It is a religion for it has to be taken on faith as there is no scientific evidence.

I agree on the religion bit. I've posted about it quite extensively on my blog, www.pheistyblog.com.

What I thought was really crazy was when they talked about a kid watching it in his GYM glass! Can you believe this crap?

Thanks for the post! ;)

ARGH!! I've been telling my husband that this global warming stuff and going green has become a religion. And boy, aren't folks just going right along with, being indoctrinated on a daily basis. I believe it stikes worry and fear into our children for naught. Can't we talk to them about some positive things? Let them be kids and enjoy life a bit without having to worry about the world overheating, etc.???

It must be true because there is a "consensus" amongst scientists that global warming is real. Balderdash!
Back in 1965 Ayn Rand referred to such phenomena in her video "Consensus: The New Fascism", which can be viewed at www.aynrand.org. I believe you'll need to register with the website, but registration is free.
